Curtin Teaching and Learning has overseen the management of Curtin Online since 2009 with the initial courses, Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts, strategically selected due to high student demand.
Marketing of Curtin Online commenced at the end 2010 for the TISC campaign targeting enrolments in 2011.
In 2011 the Bachelor of Science (Health Sciences) and Bachelor of Science (Health Promotion) courses were offered fully online and by late 2011 Curtin Online formally encompassed all of Curtin's fully online courses.
The promotion of Curtin Online has seen a considerable increase in enrolments in Semester 1 2012 in comparison to Semester 1 2011 for the same courses.
The success of the internal and external promotion is a result of the involvement and ongoing communication maintained with Prospective Student Services, Curtin Marketing and the Digital Media Unit.
