The Faculty Learning Engagement Team (FLET) collaborates with academic leaders to build faculty capacity to enable the transformation of learning and teaching at Curtin. The desired change leads towards more active student learning, more highly engaging and scalable technology-enabled learning designs, and more advanced research on learning and teaching. The FLET provides strategic guidance in meeting these new priorities.
The FLETs provide one-on-one and departmental consulting services, strategic decision making, and professional development opportunities for faculty staff teaching in a converged learning environment. Converged learning includes active learning strategies such as the flipped classroom, technology enriched learning, MOOCs, and distributed learning. These strategies provide guidance for the redesign of key courses and units.
