GroupMap at Curtin
The current license for GroupMap is being extended until the end of February 2017. An extension beyond this date is currently being negotiated..
GroupMap is an online real time brainstorming and group meeting tool. GroupMap allows you to quickly and effectively collect responses from participants using templates with rules you can set. Create the question in a minute and participants simply use a password or link to join in. You can see both individual and whole group answers to facilitate learning, discussion and assessment. Engagement is improved through anonymous input, visual templates and being able to learn collectively.
Using GroupMap encourages higher order thinking through self created responses which can be done independently or collaboratively. All responses are saved instantly and safely. You can provide feedback on ideas in less time and results can be displayed or reported on. Examples of use include; using the application as a student response system, collecting questions, gauging audience sentiment or delivery of a guided lesson plan. Group sizes have ranged from as small as 5 to as large as 400+. GroupMap can be used on PCs, Macs, laptops and tablets.
