Brief Summary

I am an optimistic person who is motivated by education, social justice and equality. I currently work with a fantastic team that actively targets social, economic and psychological barriers towards higher education. I enjoy volunteering for non-profit organisations and endeavour to participate in as much personal development as possible. I believe the more diverse my experiences are, the greater support I can supply to others.

Overview

I began my Curtin University journey in 2011 in the UniReady Enabling Program. In 2012, I began my Bachelor of Psychology undergraduate degree, finishing in 2015 with upper second class honours.

I have found a strong sense of identity as a Curtin student and staff member which has lead me to represent Curtin University as a student ambassador participant and mentor, a John Curtin Leadership Academy participant and mentor, a UniReady Enabling Program advocate and a committed Curtin Leadership Centre participant.

I currently work for the Curtin AHEAD program, which stands for Addressing Higher Educational Access Disadvantage. I am also in the process of completing my Master of Teaching (Secondary) post graduate degree, at Notre Dame University.
